Day 1   Arrival in Acqui Terme
Arrival in Cascina Marcantonio in Acqui Terme. This former Roman thermal resort is the departure and end of your journey. Andreea and Guido will welcome you in their very nice Agriturismo which has a restaurant and a pool

Day 2   Tour above and around Acqui Terme  ± 45 km
Your cycling holiday starts with a tour above and around Acqui Terme. This area has been on the Unesco World Heritage list since 2014. You cycle between the vineyards and villages that lie above the city. On clear days you can see the Alpine giants: Monviso, Monte Bianco and Monte Rosa.
You sleep again in Cascina Marcanton

Day 3   Acqui Terme-Pareto-Acqui Terme  ± 65 km
Today a ride to Pareto where you experience the "Calanchi", hills made from a particular soil. In Pareto you can have a nice "pranzo di lavoro" (workmen lunch) for little money.
You sleep in Villa Scati in Melazzo

Day 4   Acqui Terme-Canelli ± 45 km
From Acqui Terme you cycle through a varied landscape via Loazzolo and Canelli, to Calamandrana. You spend the night in Agriturismo I Tre Poggi in Canelli

Day 5   Canelli-Alba  ± 55 km
This day you cycle to the "truffle capital" of Italy: Alba. you cycle among others to Santo Stefano Belbo, the town of the famous poet Cesare Pavese and Neive, voted one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.  If you leave a little early you can explore Alba in the afternoon. The 4-star "Hotel Calissano" is a 5-minute walk from the center.

Day 6   Alba-Torre Bormida ± 55 km
Today a ride to Torre Bormida. You ride through the Langhe area and you enter the famous villages of Verduno and La Morra. Of course, Barolo is not lacking in the program. On this day we offer you a winetasting at a winery which produces Barolo-wines. At the end of the day you arrive in Agriturismo La Costa, where you can eat a wonderfull meal in Fabio's restaurant.

Day 7   Torre Bormida-Acqui Terme  ± 60 km
The last ride is again a beautiful one. It takes you through the Monferrato region back to Cascina Marcantonio in Acqui Terme. Along the way you will see vineyards, hazelnuts, fruit trees in an enchanting landscape.

Day 8   Departure from Acqui Terme
After breakfast in Cascina Marcantonio your holiday ends.
